April Outreach- Chets Creek Elementary- April 2006

Jennifer Snead of Chets Creek Elementary contacted me to request Team Outreach's participation in the Annual Art Extravaganza.

I participated last year. It is an excellent opportunity to display information about the Jacksonville Watercolor Society and our Outreach Program. Also, the artists are free to demostrate to the parents and students that stop by the booth/table.

April Outreach Opportunity-Mayport Middle School

Most of the students have already had exposure to watercolor. The JWS instructor can do more advanced projects with them. The kids are particularly interested in the wet-in-wet technique.

April Opportunity- Crystal Springs Elementary

Doesn't have time with FCAT prep to do our watercolor class. But she is interested in an art exhibit/watercolor demo at their festival in April 2006.

Third weekend in April
2-3 hrs/ thursday, Friday, 10:00-1 pm

Fridays there's parents night event from 6-8 pm. We could also exhibit and do watercolor demos there to. The theme of the festival is "Medieval Renaissance". Maybe we could also demo how to make our own watercolor paint!
