4th grade work at Stonewall Jackson Elementary-4/19/06

This beautiful work was done in Ms. Patricia Sadler's class in just one 50 min session by her one of her fourth grade classes. the theme for todays project was seascapes. I gave them two examples; one from Winslow Homer and another from Van Gogh. We discussed the wet on wet and dry brush techniques. The children were given choices in what technique to apply. I was really impressed with how fast many of them caught on! Good jobs kids!!!! Thank you Ms. Sadler!!!
